On this edition of The Arts Section, we’ll be featuring some holiday traditions. Host Gary Zidek visits the Music Box Theatre during it’s annual “Christmas Show”, which has been going strong for 31 years. We’ll talk to an Oak Lawn man who is the official historian of Rankin-Bass, the television production company behind those iconic stop-motion Christmas specials that air every holiday season. . And we’ll catch-up with a Chicago performer who’s one-woman, rockabilly cabaret show is based on a little known movie character. We’ll also talk to a local blogger about her now book on creative holiday décor.

Chicago performer Rachelyn Primm was inspired by a character in White Christmas to create a one-woman based around the fictional Rita Rose.
