On this edition of The Arts Section, host Gary Zidek chats with renowned pianist Jorge Federico Osorio about his new album and upcoming CSOtv recital. The Dueling Critics, Kerry Reid and Jonathan Abarbanel, join Gary for their annual holiday theater preview, this year all the productions are virtual. Later, Gary reviews the new film, SOUND OF METAL. The drama features a tremendous performance from Riz Ahmed as a professional drummer struggling to keep it together as he loses his hearing. Then, Gary takes a closer look at a new funding initiative that aims to support efforts to amplify underrepresented voices in the local arts and culture scene. And we’ll revisit an interview with City Winery founder & CEO Michael Dorf from last year.
