The Arts Section 11/04/18

November 4th, 2018

On this edition of The Arts Section, host Gary Zidek catches up with filmmaker Nathaniel Kahn. His documentary, THE PRICE OF EVERYTHING, takes an up-close look at the contemporary art world. A little later in the program, Gary sits down with a group of curators for a roundtable discussion about 3 new design-focused exhibits. The Chicago History Museum, the Cultural Center and the Design Museum of Chicago have all opened exhibits under the Art Design Chicago umbrella. Music writer Dennis Polkow interviewed former Chicago Symphony Orchestra music director Daniel Barenboim. The Dueling Critics, Kelly Kleiman and Jonathan Abarbanel, join Gary to talk about the Broadway In Chicago production of HELLO DOLLY. And Gary reviews Luca Guadagnino’s new version of the Italian horror classic SUSPIRIA.
