Your WDCB donation will be MATCHED today and tomorrow!

This Friday and Saturday, WDCB is holding its annual “Food Drive-Pledge Drive” which simultaneously raises funds to support WDCB programming while also providing meals for hungry families. As always, 100% of your donation to WDCB will stay with WDCB as we have a generous sponsor who is picking up the cost of the donated meals!

However today and tomorrow we have a very special incentive!
In conjunction with tomorrow’s Giving Tuesday movement – a nationwide incentive to encourage support of nonprofit organizations, such as WDCB – a number of generous WDCB contributors have pooled their donations to create a $10,000 matching fund.  Your donation will be matched (doubled!) providing even more meals to help those less fortunate.  Your donation has the potential to raise an additional 1,000 meals if you can make it today or tomorrow!

Every $100 raised will provide TEN meals! Our goal by the end of the day Saturday is to raise $50,000 for WDCB, and 5,000 meals for those in need. The meals will be donated to the Northern Illinois Food Bank and Greater Chicago Food Depository.  And a HUGE thank you to Dr. Daniel J. Fornatto, DDS in Elmhurst for paying the cost of the meals so that 100% of your donation to WDCB will still support your favorite programs.
