The Chicago Jazz Festival (Thurs, Sept 1 to Sun, Sept 4) returns with performances in Millennium Park and at the Chicago Cultural Center. Produced by the City of Chicago’s Dept. of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE), programmed by the Jazz Institute of Chicago, and sponsored by WDCB Public Radio, some schedule highlights include:
- Henry Threadgill and Zooid
- Bill Frisell
- William Parker and his quintet
- Miguel Zenón
- Linda May Han Oh
- Jazzmeia Horn
- ... and many others!
