The Arts Section 02/18/18

February 18th, 2018

On this edition of The Arts Section, host Gary Zidek visits the DePaul Art Museum.  The Lincoln Park neighborhood-based museum is celebrating printmaking with three new exhibits featuring works by lithographers Clinton Adams & June Wayne, Jose Guerrero and Barbara Jones-Hogu.  Gary sat down with museum director Julie Rodrigues Widholm. The Dueling Critics, Kelly Kleiman and Jonathan Abarbanel, drop by to review ShawChicago's JEEVES IN BLOOM. Later in the program, Gary talks to author Peter Ames Carlin about his biography on singer-songwriter Paul Simon. The music legend recently announced his farewell tour.  Gary also takes a closer look at a new Chicago Cultural Center exhibit on artist Nina Chanel Abney.  All that, plus a review of the Netflix film THE CLOVERFIELD PARADOX and the weekly Arts Section calendar.
