The Arts Section 05/21/17

May 21st, 2017

On this edition of The Arts Section, host Gary Zidek visits the new American Writers Museum on opening day.  Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Pulitzer Prize-winning author David McCullough and other were all on hand for the ribbon-cutting. Gary also had a chance to talk with acclaimed film director Terence Davies about his new biopic on Emily Dickinson, A QUIET PASSION.  We’ll hear about a new origami installation at the Morton Arboretum. Plus, a conversation about an exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art that celebrates women artists.  And the Dueling Critics stopped by with a review of a new production that parodies THREE’S COMPANY.
