We have a special treat… two films! Both are under an hour, hence our decision to pair these two wonderful movies.

You Will be My Music
An antique record cutting machine, homemade recordings and a loving son come full circle in Director/Producer Bob Williams' documentary You Will Be My Music to bring a father’s musical aspirations to life in the production of a magical debut album. A beautiful and moving tribute to a father’s musical dreams, the film is a love story about a father, son and the power of music bringing people together.

Wes Bound: The Genius of Wes Montgomery
Wes Montgomery (1923-1968) rose from humble beginnings in Indianapolis to become one of the greatest jazz guitarists of all time. This documentary of Wes Montgomery is told through the eyes of the guitar legend’s youngest child, Robert Montgomery. Wes Bound producer/director Kevin Finch and Robert Montgomery interviewed dozens of musicians, family members, and friends for the documentary, including jazz guitarists George Benson, Pat Metheny, Russell Malone, Mimi Fox and Lee Ritenour, plus rockers Jeff “Skunk” Baxter, Slash and Eric Johnson.

*** NOTE: This event is free for current Encore Club donors, as well as current WDCB contributors, as long as you reserve your tickets in advance.
