On this edition of The Arts Section, host Gary Zidek sits down with one of the most in-demand classical music conductors in the world, Dalia Stasevska for a conversation about her journey to taking the podium. Theater Critic Kerry Reid stops by to discuss a local revival of THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS. Later in the show, Gary catches up wtih Reggie Thomas, the director of the Northern Illinois University jazz orchestra. The band is currently competing in one of the most prestigious collegiate jazz competitions in the country. And Gary revisits his conversation with a local photographer behind some of the most candid images of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. that we have today.
