On this edition of The Arts Section, host Gary Zidek catches up with Grammy-winning jazz musician and Oscar nominated film score composer Terence Blanchard to talk about his new opera, that’s set to open in Chicago. The Dueling Critics, Kerry Reid and Jonathan Abarbanel, will join Gary to discuss the much-anticipated world premiere of Steppenwolf’s KING JAMES. And Gary gets ready for the Oscars, which will be handed out next week. Local film critic Janet Arvia stops by to discuss this year’s nominees.
