On this edition of The Arts Section, host Gary Zidek interviews outgoing Chicago Tribune arts and jazz critic Howard Reich. The renowned music journalist is stepping down from his role at the paper after a nearly four-decade tenure. The Dueling Critics, Kerry Reid and Jonathan Abarbanel, joins Gary to review a new streaming offering from Congo Square Theatre. Gary reviews the new film ONE NIGHT IN MIAMI. Later, Gary checks in with Chicago magazine dining editor Amy Cavanaugh to discuss the city’s coffee culture. And we’ll revisit a feature on a local photographer responsible for capturing many of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s visits to Chicago in the 1960s.
