On this edition of The Arts Section, host Gary Zidek talks to the people behind a new art auction platform that aims to raise money for local social justice causes. Some very talented contemporary artists are partnering with the Chicago-based Future Gallerie. SInce it’s Fourth of July weekend, the Dueling Critics, Kerry Reid and Jonathan Abarbanel, join Gary to discuss the plays and musicals that best exemplify the American experience. Later in the program, Gary takes a closer look at a new video game that’s garnering a lot of attention and creating some controversy. The Daily Herald’s Sean Standland stops by to talk about THE LAST OF US 2. And Gary reviews the new French language film, THE TRUTH.
