The Arts Section 09/04/16
September 4th, 2016

On this edition of The Arts Section, host Gary Zidek takes a closer look at some of the hidden gems in one of Chicago’s most artistic neighborhoods. Hint: it rhymes with Mavensgood. He also sits down with members of the west suburban Buffalo Theatre Ensemble, which is set to make its return to the stage after a 3 year absence. The Dueling Critics stop by to talk about a new play that touches on the realities of dementia and discuss this year’s crop of Jeff Award nominees. And we’ll hear about up and coming jazz vocalist, Alexis Lombre.

Gary visited the Chicago Academy of Sciences warehouse in the Ravenswood neighborhood.
