WDCB launches new two-week streaming audio archive!
Ever miss your favorite program on WDCB and wish you could turn the clock back and listen to it later? We're excited to introduce a new and totally free feature for our listeners. You can now stream all of our locally produced radio shows for up to two weeks following their original air date using our Two-Week Archive! That includes every segment of ‘DCB Jazz, as well as our specialty shows encompassing a wide variety of musical genres and our public affairs programming too.
It’s easy to use and should work equally well on all browsers from your desktop computer, laptop, tablet or even via the web from your smart phone.
Note that since it is a new service, you may see some tweaks and fine tuning along the way. Keep in mind that each recording starts exactly at the top of each hour as originally broadcast on WDCB, so some shows in the archive may begin with a legal ID or a promo before proceeding to the beginning of the show you are accessing. Due to music copyright rules, the shows are not downloadable as podcasts, but are available almost immediately after the initial broadcast and will remain active and streamable for a full two weeks afterwards. Some of our nationally syndicated offerings and live specials may not be available via the archive.
Like so much of what we bring you at WDCB, our new two-week archive is made possible by generous WDCB donors who have asked for this service.
