On this edition of The Arts Section, host Gary Zidek talks to the local photographer who’s turned her passion for urban exploration into a published book that offers a look into some of Chicago’s most interesting abandoned properties. The Dueling Critics, Kerry Reid and Jonathan Abarbanel, join Gary for a discussion about the year in local theater, lots of change in 2021. Later in the show, Gary revisits a feature he did on a new Great Chicago Fire exhibit that opened to comemorate the 150th anniversary of the tragedy. Plus, a segment about a light festival that’s on display at a local minor league baseball park.
