Gary Zidek

Gary R. Zidek started at WDCB as Assistant News Director in 2006. An early and constant fascination with local radio led him to study broadcast journalism.  After graduating from North Central College, Gary interned at WBEZ on the station’s Eight Forty Eight program and at WGN for the Spike O’Dell morning show.  The Wheaton-native then headed north to work for Milwaukee news/talk station WTMJ.  Gary has anchored newscasts and hosted shows at WDCB for the past 12 years.  He began hosting The Arts Section, a weekly arts and culture magazine program, in January of 2014. The Arts Section airs Sundays 8 -9 am on WDCB.
