On this edition of The Arts Section, host Gary Zidek sits down with Museum of Contemporary Art associate performance curator Tara Aisha Willis. The Hyde Park native is giving a platform to new works from diverse voices. The Dueling Critics, Kelly Kleiman and Jonathan Abarbanel, join Gary for their annual holiday theater preview. Over 40 holiday-themed productions will be on Chicago-area stages this December, which ones should you see? A little later, Gary visits theMart for a preview of the upcoming One of a Kind Holiday Show. Artists and makers from around North America will be selling their creations at the unique 4-day event. And Gary catches up with first-time filmmaker Kendall Goldberg. The Munster-native’s new movie, WHEN JEFF TRIED TO SAVE THE WORLD, will make its Chicago premiere at the Music Box Theatre on December 5th and 6th.
