On the edition of The Arts Section, host Gary Zidek previews the Museum of Contemporary Art’s upcoming exhibit, The Freedom Principle: Experiments In Art and Music, 1965 to Now.  The new exhibition coincides with the 50th anniversary of the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians.  Gary also caught up with the director and producer of the new critically acclaimed documentary that explores the life and career of Amy Winehouse.  The Arts Section asked Chicago-area residents what their favorite summertime activities and events were.  Gary talked to the legendary frontman of The Chieftains, Paddy Moloney.  He’ll be in Chicago this week to perform at the Taste of Chicago.  And the Dueling Critics review Oracle Theatre’s latest production, The America Play.
