The Arts Section 05/27/18

May 27th, 2018

On this edition of The Arts Section, host Gary Zidek talks to director Abbie Reese about her new documentary, CHOSEN: CUSTODY OF THE EYES. The northwestern Illinois-based filmmaker was granted unprecedented access to the cloistered nuns at the Corpus Christi Monastery in Rockford. Later in the show, WDCB's Leslie Keros talks to the new owners of Delmark Records. The historic jazz and blues label is starting a new chapter in its 65th year.  Gary talks to comedian and voice-over actor actor H. Jon Benjamin about his new memoir, FAILURE IS AN OPTION. The Dueling Critics, Kelly Kleiman and Jonathan Abarbanel, stop by to review City Lit Theatre's new production of PROMETHEUS BOUND. And Gary reviews the new British indie film ON CHESIL BEACH. Plus, this week's Arts Section calendar.
