| Thomas Zoells hosts the "Jazz Salon at PianoForte" concerts, which are part of our Jazz Made in Chicago program. Thomas's concerts come from two venues, his own beautiful PianoForte Showroom in the Fine Arts Building at 410 S. Michigan Avenue in Chicago where he presents the Jazz Salon series, and the Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook, which is home to the WDCB Jazz Salon @ Mayslake. Both series are under the umbrella of his PianoForte Foundation. Thomas Zoells, Founder/Executive Director, is the owner of PianoForte Chicago, Inc., a piano dealership representing Fazioli, Grotrian and Wendl & Lung pianos; and founder of the PianoForte Foundation, a not-for-profit concert organization which produces salon concerts in its space in the Fine Arts Building as well as at the Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook, IL. Mr. Zoells was born and raised in Switzerland and in Vienna, Austria. He has also worked for Ingpen & Williams in London and Agence Caecilia in Geneva, where he helped promote Jessye Norman, Alicia de Larrocha and Alfred Brendel, among others. |
