| Lilli has been the weekly show host of Folk Festival since July, 2007, and was involved as a back-up host to the late George Brown for over six years prior. She is a lifelong Chicagoland resident with a background in music performance, management, and production, as well as music journalism. She brings her love of folk music and experience to Folk Festival, presenting a unique show with material frequently 'under the radar', a specialized Folk Calendar, and her own brand of quirkiness, insights, and information. Lilli plays guitar, piano and organ, and has performed in folk duos and trios, rock bands, and jazz combos. She is married with a son in college, and enjoys books, bicycling, travel, and sudoku puzzles, but most especially all types of folk music, ragtime piano, and jazz. Lilli is a member of Folk Alliance and the Society of Professional Journalists.
