Chicago Launches Resiliency Fund
The city of Chicago unveiled a $5 million fund for residents who Mayor Lori Lightfoot said were excluded from the federal relief legislation known as the CARES Act. Residents eligible for the Chicago Resiliency Fund will get a one-time check of $1,000. The fund is made possible through a partnership between the city, the Open Society Foundations and The Resurrection Project. Click the link for infomration on how to apply.
