On this edition of The Arts Section, host Gary Zidek visits a new exhibit at the Dusable Museum that celebrates the 50 year history of the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians. WDCB’s Brian O’Keefe previews the first-ever Chicago International Puppet Theater Festival.  The Dueling Critics, Kelly Kleiman and Jonathan Abarbanel, review a play making its Chicago debut. Chicago vocalist Alyssa Allgood stops by to talk about her new album, “Ladybird”. And Gary talks to WDCB evening host Bruce Oscar about his upcoming performance at the Jazz Showcase.

The Puppet Festival is organized by Director Blair Thomas to establish Chicago as a  center for the art of puppetry.
