WDCB announces our new blues show "Blues Time with Tom Marker!" heard every Saturday night from 7 to 9pm. Each week, Marker guides listeners through two commercial-free hours of the finest new blues, with a special emphasis on active musicians who make up Chicago's current blues scene. Marker also draws from his vast personal collection to highlight the classic blues artists of Chicago and beyond.

Marker's blues credentials have been well established in Chicago through his 30+ years hosting the popular "Blues Breakers" program on WXRT. Marker has been a presence on the air in Chicago since the late '70s on stations including WJKL-FM ("The Fox") and WLUP-FM ("The Loop") as well as WXRT. Marker is also well known to Chicago blues fans as the primary Petrillo Stage emcee at the Chicago Blues Festival.

With "Blues Time!" on WDCB, Marker and his fans can delve into the best of the blues - past, present and future - deeper than ever before. Each week's show kicks-off to WDCB's 10-hour all-night Saturday blues extravaganza, running until Sunday morning at 5am.
