On this edition of The Arts Section, host Gary Zidek catches up wtih acclaimed conductor Richard Kaufman to talk about film scores and conducting John Wiliams’ HOME ALONE score with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Gary also checks in with a Joliet native who was in HOME ALONE. The Dueling Critics, Kerry Reid and Jonathan Abarbanel, will join me to discuss the Chicago preview of the Broadway-bound musical PARADISE SQUARE. And later, Gary talks to the author of book that looks back at the history of Thanksgiving.
